Hilo, Hawaii – A trio of freshmen are set to join the University of Hawaii at Hilo women's cross country program for the 2006 season.

Joining the squad are Whitney Hitchcock (Kenai, Alaska), Jenna Kosinski (Ocean View, Hawaii) and Malia Williams (Volcano, Hawaii).

Returning for another run with the Vulcan squad are seniors Martha Kawasaki, Marla Garcia and Erin Sare; junior Kari Andrews; and sophomores Ashley Benson and Mia Munekata.
