The University of Hawaii at Hilo got an early goal and held on for a 1-0 Pacific West Conference win over Chaminade University on the UHH soccer field.

The Vulcans are 3-10-2 overall and 2-7 in the PacWest while the Silverswords are 1-14 overall and 1-9 in the PacWest.

Just 11 minutes into the match, the Vulcans strung passes from Lindsey Poulsen to Kristine Pasek up the middle. On the pass to Pasek, Brianna Lopiccolo set up for a breakaway and got the pass she needed for an uncontested shot in the goal.
