Alexa Jacobs (Glendale, AZ/Mountain Ridge) has signed a national letter of intent with the University of Hawaii at Hilo announced Vulcans Head Coach David Kaneshiro.
 
Entering her fourth year as a varsity player, the 5-foot-8 point guard is a 3-time all-State selection and 2-time all-Region Player of the Year Runner-up. She is coming off a junior campaign in which she averaged 18 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds and 6 steals per game.
 
“We are very excited that Alexa will be in our program for the next four years,” Kaneshiro said. “She is a very hard worker who is always working to improve her game. She has a high basketball IQ, excellent court vision and the ability to create scoring opportunities for her teammates as well as for herself.”
