Dalen Yamauchi is tied for 67^th place at the NCAA Division II Golf Championship on the Hershey Country Club (Pa.).
 
The Hilo sophomore carded a 6-over-par 77 in the first round and is in an eight-way tie on the 7,061-yard course designed by George Fazio.
 
Barry University's Adam Svensson leads the tournament with a 3-under-par 68 and is a stroke better than Grand Canyon's Jimmy Kozikowski, Lynn's Roberto Francioni and Florida Southern's Case Gard. Four players are another stroke back and tied for 5^th place.
