Shortstop John Abreu earned 2013 all-Pacific West Conference second-team honors in a vote by conference coaches.
The University of Hawaii at Hilo senior led the squad with eight doubles. His .322 batting average (48 hits in 149 at bats) was second on the team. Also the plate, he scored 18 runs, had a triple, a home run and 13 RBI. He also stole three bases.
In the field, he had a .920 fielding average with 67 putouts, 105 assists and 15 errors.
