Rebecca Lee and
Kristina Victa are the Pacific West Conference Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year as voted upon by the league's coaches.
Lee, a junior shortstop, led the Vulcans with .429 batting average, 21 doubles and a .633 slugging percentage. She also collected five homeruns and 41 RBI while being successful on 23 of 26 stolen base attempts. She was a third-team all-PacWest shortstop.
Victa, a junior centerfielder, was the Vulcans's lead-off batter who hit .395 with 15 walks and an onbase percentage of .450. She scored 53 runs and stole 26 bases this season while being caught six times. At the plate she also collected nine doubles and five triples. Victa was a second-team all-PacWest selection.
Selected to the first team was sophomore third-baseman
Emily Greene (Woodland Hills, CA/Louisville). She batted .302 with 8 homeruns and 47 RBI. On the field, she had a .958 fielding percentage (79 putouts, 79 assists, 7 errors).
