Cold-shooting from the field hampered the University of Hawaii at Hilo in a 51-47 loss to Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA.
 
Ball control went well with the Vulcans committing just eight turnovers and recording 11 assists. But the Vulcans hit just 16 of 57 shots from the field for a 28.1 field goal percentage with just 3 of 11 3-point attempts falling. They were 12 of 18 from the charity stripe.
 
Darius Johnson-Wilson led the Vulcans with 17 points and seven rebounds. Vandyon Lockett added 12 points.
