Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Senior Mina Grant, in the final match of her brilliant four-year career, became Hawai`i Hilo's all-time leader in digs. She finished with 1,564, surpassing UHH Hall of Fame member Tanya Fuamatu (1992-95), who had 1,559. Grant passed Fuamatu in typical fashion, diving for a ball to save a point and win the set (fourth game) against Chaminade. She missed four matches earlier in the season with a shoulder injury, but rallied in the final week of her career with 57 total digs in three matches.
