Larry Bush earned the award for the fourth time this year, and the second time this month. Bush had a career-high 27 points in UH Hilo's upset win of first-place Point Loma on Feb. 14, and followed that up with 26 points two nights later at Concordia. That gave him a conference-best 53 points over the weekend, enough to also earn him the Pacific West Conference Player of the Week. Against the Sea Lions, he converted a three-point play late in the game to help seal the win against the No. 8 team in the country.
