Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Vulcan pitcher and designated player (DP) Isabelle Mejia had a week to remember as the Vulcans went 7-1 against Notre Dame de Namur and Holy Names. In the pitcher's circle, she was 4-0 with three shutouts--including a five-inning no-hitter to help the Vulcans improve to 12-4 on the season. The senior from Arcadia, Calif. pitched a total of 25 innings and gave up just one run, seven hits and struck out 21 Argonauts and Hawks. Over 9.1 innings of that stretch, she did not give up a hit!!
