Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Sophomore shortstop Kiarra Lincoln had a busy and productive seven days while on the road in California. During a week that included four games against No. 7 nationally ranked Concordia, and five games at the Tournament of Champions, Lincoln raised her average 23 points (.313) and played a huge role in UHH's series-opening win over the Eagles. During that 5-1 win over Concordia, Lincoln led off the game against All-American pitcher Callie Nunes with a solo home run and would go on to go 3-for-4 in the game, with a double. She was 11-for-32 for the week, and on the year the hometown girl from Hilo leads the Vulcans in runs scored (29), RBI (27), is tied for the home run lead (4) and is second in stolen bases (8). The Vulcans host Hawai`i Pacific this Saturday in a big PacWest doubleheader.
