Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Redshirt freshman Kobie Russell is the UH Hilo Pepsi Athlete of the Week, for his body of work over a weekend sweep of Hawai`i Pacific. The Waipahu native was back home and feasted on Shark pitching, going 7-for-17 in four games (.412) and he had at least one RBI in each of the four contests (five total). He homered, doubled and stole a base as the Vulcans won their eighth straight game to improve to 18-15 on the season.
