Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Olivia Jarvis, a sophomore from Oceanside, Calif., ran her best race of the season at the Hawaii Pacific Invitational on Saturday. Running the same course on Oahu's North Shore (Kahuku GC) that she did in the season opener at the Big Wave Invitational, Jarvis shaved nearly a minute and a half off that time to finish in fourth place. She crossed the line in 20:29 over the five kilometer course, only behind an HPU runner and two from Division I Univ. of Hawaii. Four teams and 31 runners completed in the race.
