Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Freshman Emily Wade had the match of her young collegiate life in the Vulcans' biggest win of the season to date. The 6-foot-3 middle blocker had a career-best 24 kills with only two errors, hitting a red-hot .478. She had three kills at the end of the fifth set as UH HIlo took down defending conference champion Azusa Pacific. She also had a solo block and nine assisted blocks to lead the Vulcans to their 12th straight win. Earlier in the week, she had 12 kills in a 3-1 win over Point Loma.
