Bria Beale continues to have an MVP-type season for the Vulcans. The junior from Eastvale, Calif. had 21 kills and 17 digs in the win over Chaminade, throwing in a service ace and solo block for good measure. Against the Sharks, she had a career-high 25 kills, 14 digs and two blocks. In her second season at UHH, the former UC Irvine transfer leads the PacWest in kills with 354 (68 more than the nearest competitor) and in points (4.38 per set). Beale also won the PacWest Player of the Week Award today.
