Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Jorge Martinez had a magical week in the final three matches of his collegiate soccer career. The senior from Madrid, Spain scored three goals and had two assists in three matches at home as the Vulcans won two of three to wrap up the 2019 year. Martinez had UH Hilo's two scores in a 2-0 win over Holy Names and had a goal and an assists in a 2-1 victory over Academy of Art. In his final match on Saturday, he garnered a final assist with just over a minute left. He finished the season as UHH's leading scorer with seven goals, three assists and 17 total points. All three numbers rank in UH Hilo's Single Season Top 10 list.
