Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

6-foot-3 freshman middle blocker Emily Wade played another big part in UH Hilo's success on their recent four-match road trip in southern California. The Vulcans won three of four matches, all against teams with winning records. Wade had a total of 54 kills in the four matches, the highest total for the week in the PacWest. She also had 24 blocks, also the highest tally in the conference. She was in double figures in all four matches, with bests of 16 against Azusa Pacific and 15 versus Biola. She had seven of her blocks against Biola.
