Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Leah Gonzales came up big for the Vulcans in the pitching circle during a pair of wins for the Vulcans over Azusa Pacific last week. The senior right-hander came out of the bullpen in the first game, pitching four innings to pick up the win as the Vulcans rallied to triumph in eight innings, 5-4. She didn't give up a run and didn't walk a batter. She started the second game and went the complete seven innings, again picking up the victory in a 5-1 knock out of the Cougars. For the doubleheader, she pitched 11 innings, allowed just one run and didn't walk a batter.
