Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Senior Brianna Valencia started in 30 matches over two seasons for the Vulcans, playing an important role in a very impressive UH Hilo defense. During her junior season, one of the best in Vulcan soccer history, UHH allowed only 10 goals in 16 matches. In 2019, Valencia and the Vulcan defense allowed just 17 goals in 17 matches. A two-time Pacific West Conference All-Academic selection, the Riverside, Calif. native arrive in Hilo in 2017 (she redshirted that season) after spending a season at Missouri Southern State. Brianna graduated last month with a degree in Kinesiology, concentration in Sports Medicine and Therapy, with a 3.42 GPA. She has returned to southern California and plans to go to physical therapy school.
