Middle blocker Armani Moultrie had the best season of her career as a senior in 2019. She played in 25 of the squad's 31 matches, starting in 21. The Inglewood, Calif. native had 143 kills and a .276 attack percentage, with 44 total blocks, including eight solos, The 5-foot-11, fifth-year Vulcan had a career-best 17 kills during a three-set win over Fresno Pacific, hitting .556 in that match. She had 16 kills in a home win over conference champion Azusa Pacific, hitting .389 against the Cougars. She had six total blocks versus Point Loma, and was part of a middle that totaled 253 blocks on the year. She was named the Vulcan Pepsi Athlete of the Week on Oct. 19 after helping her team to home victories over Fresno Pacific and Dominican. Moultrie graduated in the spring with a degree in Marine Science.
