Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Madison Gates had an injury-plagued soccer career but finished strong in the classroom, graduating this past Spring with a BS in Environmental Science and a SC in Arts and Sciences Planning. She missed her entire senior season (2019) and played in just one match as a junior (2018) because of injury. She played in nine matches as a sophomore and spent tons of time on the field in 2016, playing in 14 and starting five. She scored the winning goal in a victory over Chaminade as a career highlight, and was a three-time PacWest Scholar-Athlete honoree. The southern California native will attend UC Irvine this Fall to pursue a master's degree in Urban Planning.
