Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Kimberly Olivas put the final touches on a way-to-short Vulcan softball career during a COVID shortened 2020 season. The talented outfielder started all 21 games for the Vulcans, including the season final three-game sweep of defending champion Concordia. Olivas hit .316 and tied for the team lead in stolen bases with five. As a junior (2018), she was hitting .321 before an injury ended her season after just 10 games. The SoCal native, who spent two seasons at Cerritos JC before arriving in Hilo, is wrapping up work on a degree in Kinesiology--Exercise Science and Sports Medicine/Therapy.
