If this really was the last game in the highly successful career of Kim Schmelz, she sure went out with a bang. The 5-foot-8 guard from Sacramento equaled her career high with 29 points in a 93-58 win over Chaminade that helped the Vulcans finish the year at 6-6. She rained home 7-of-10 three-point attempts, equaling the UH Hilo school record for most treys in a game. For the weekend, she totaled 38 points giving her 1,041 in her career, second all-time at UH Hilo. She also departs with 109 three-pointers (4th) and 153 free throws made (6th).
