Senior outside hitter Bria Beale picked up where she left off in 2019 last weekend on Oahu against UHH's rivals in Honolulu. The Eastvale, Calif. native posted at least 16 kills and 14 digs in all four matches as she led Hawai`i Hilo to three wins. Against Hawai`i Pacific, she had 18 kills and 20 digs with only three attack errors. She zipped in seven aces against the Sharks, one shy of the school record of eight. She finished the week with an attack percentage of .234, recording 68 kills, 64 digs, 13 aces and seven blocks, leading the tournament in total points with 84.5.
