Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Opposite side hitter Alexandria Parisian is one of a number of players that could have been selected as the Pepsi Athlete of the Week from the red-hot Vulcan volleyball team. The lefty from Apple Valley, Calif. was a big factor in UH Hilo sweeping their island rivals twice to improve to 7-1 on the season. Parisian totaled 39 kills in four matches with 10 service aces, eight block assists and 40 digs. She had 10 kills and hit .444 in a 3-0 win over HPU and had 14 kills and 13 digs in a win over Chaminade. On the season she is second on the Vulcans in kills (89), second in block assists (24), and fourth in aces (11) and digs (69).
