Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Freshman libero Tani Hoke had another solid weekend as her Vulcan volleyball team ran off four more wins against their Hawaii counterparts, this time at Chaminade. In the PacWest #3 tournament, the Kailua native and Maryknoll alumnae had a total of 69 digs in four matches, zipped in four aces and passed well. In the tournament opening 3-0 win over Hawaii Pacific, Hoke had 20 digs and three aces, and she also had 19 digs the following day against the Sharks. On the season, the 5-foot-3 defensive specialist has 16 aces and a team-best 236 digs and her 4.93 digs per set ranks fourth in the PacWest Conference.
