Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

It was quite the debut for Vulcan golfer Keith Ng, who won the first tournament that he ever entered in for UH Hilo. The University of British Columbia transfer shot a final day tally of 68 (4-under par) to take over the lead and cruise to the win by four strokes over defending PacWest champion Keita Okada of host Hawaii Pacific at the HPU Sharks Shootout. Ng shot a 73 on the first day and finished the tournament at -3. The Richmond, BC native had an impressive nine birdies and 22 pars over his 36 holes. He is the first Vulcan to win medalist honors since Jared Kinoshita did so during the 2018-19 season at the Dennis Rose Invitatational.
