Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Middle blocker Sydney Gott had a pair of solid matches last week at home for the Vulcans. The 6-foot-3 transfer from Feather River College had 10 kills and hit .389 in the Vulcans' win over Fresno Pacific, and paced the team with five block assists. Against Academy of Art, she was also in double figure-kill numbers with 12, hitting a robust .500. She also had three block assists. On the season, the Quincy, Calif. native has started every match and is second on the team in block assists (41) and solo blocks (6).
