Kunnert had a great game against Hawaii Pacific last Sunday (Dec. 12) in the Vulcans 79-67 victory over HPU. 
 
Kunnert, freshman from Milwaukee, Wisc., scored 12 points and contributed one assist in UH Hilo’s win. Kunnert was also 5-for-8 in the field, and 50 percent from behind the arc, landing two of four 3-point shots. 
 
Kunnert also snagged four rebounds and one steal against the Sharks. He was tied with three other players for the most rebounds on the team.
