Shimizu was a key asset in the Vulcans’ 73-50 win over Hawaii Pacific, which was the Vulcans’ first time beating HPU since 2012.
 
Shimizu was the second-highest Vulcan scorer with 12 points. She was 3-for-6 in the field and led her team in 3-pointers. Shimizu was an efficient 2-for-3 from behind the arc and contributed two assists against the Sharks. She was also 4-for-6 at the free throw line and collected four boards.
