Lucee Fitzgerald had a productive weekend for the Vulcan volleyball team. In Friday's win over Academy of Art, she had a career-high 15 kills and three blocks as the Vulcans defeated the Urban Knights in three sets. She also played well in Saturday's narrow loss to Fresno Pacific, with 10 kills, three service aces and a block. For the weekend, she had 25 kills, four aces, four blocks and 13 digs. Fitzgerald, a junior, is a San Clemente, Calif. native and a transfer from Irvine Valley College.
