Senior guard Ryley Callaghan helped carry the Vulcans to a stunning upset over Western Washington on Saturday at the PacWest/GNAC Challenge. Callaghan had 31 points against the No. 19 ranked Vikings, who are the defending GNACÂ champions and pre-season favorites. The Port Orchard, Washington product had 25 of those points in the second half. For the game, he nailed 11 of 12 free throws and six of eight three-point attempts. For the weekend, he finished with 44 total points, eight rebounds, eight assists and he converted 17 of 18 free throw attempts. He was named to the PacWest/GNACÂ Challenge All-Tournament team.
