Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

Sophomore tennis player Marina Colvee had a standout week on the road as the Vulcans won three of five matches. The San Diego State transfer went 4-0 in singles on court four, including securing UH Hilo's only win against No. 12 nationally ranked Midwestern State (Tex.). Against the Mustangs, she won a marathon bout with Ashley Ramirez, prevailing 4-6, 7-5, 10-7. Colvee also went 3-2 in doubles play as the Vulcans rolled to wins over Western New Mexico, Dominican and Holy Names.
