Selected Pacific West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for 2010.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Tuesday, Sept. 7, for matches contested from Sept. 2-5.

Thornquist led the Vulcans to a 3-1 week by topping the conference in hitting with a thundering .405 average. She had 43 kills in 84 attempts while committing just nine errors.

Thornquist also ranked fourth in the PacWest in kills per game (3.31) for the week, while her 43 kills landed her sixth on the league chart. She amassed 49.5 points by amassing 43 kills, seven block assists and three aces, averaging 3.81 points per game to stand fourth for the week in the league.
