Senior relief pitcher Cole Nakachi pitched extremely well in three appearances against Azusa Pacific and Concordia last week. Against No. 1 nationally ranked APU, he stymied the Cougars for 3.1 innings, allowing only two hits and no runs. He picked up a win against Concordia with 3.2 innings of work, not allowing a hit or run, improving to 3-0 on the season. For the week, the Mililani, Hawai`i native pitched 7.1 innings, gave up only two hits, no runs, walked two and struck out three.
