Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics

2017 marks the third year that Ron Takahashi has served as an assistant coach for the UH Hilo men's golf team. He assists with all areas of the golf program, including serving as the tournament director of the esteemed Amer Ari Intercollegiate tournament.

Takahashi also previously served for five seasons as a volunteer assistant coach under head coach Earl Tamiya. 

He retired three years ago as the Human Resource Director of the County of Hawai`i. Ron is married to wife Leona, and they have a daughter, Melissa.
