Vulcans fall to Dustdevils

The University of Hawaii at Hilo loss 69-59 to Texas A&M International 69-59 tonight at the UHH Gymnasium.

The Vulcans are now 4-3 while the Dust Devils are 6-4.

"I was disappointed in the way we started the game, the whole first half we were very flat and nonchalant," said UIHH Head Coach Jeff Law. "We looked like we weren't really interested in playing.

"In the meantime, Texas A & M International was very aggressive with their offense, sharp with their cuts.  Our defense was just really really soft.  We were waiting on some shots to fall in order to pick us up but the shots didn't fall and we couldn't win on the defense.  In the defensive effort I was really disappointed."

Andrew Gipson led the Vulcans with 14 points with 5 rebounds.
