PHOENIX, AZ - Hawai'i Hilo senior middle blocker Hillary Hurley (Anderson, CA/Enterprise) has been named the Pacific West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Sept. 26, for matches contested Sept. 19-25.

Hurley guided the Vulcans to a 1-1 weekend at Dixie State by averaging 7.12 kills and 7.50 points per set. She topped the PacWest in both categories and finished the week with 60 points on 57 kills and six block assists.

Hurley also was outstanding on defense, totaling 30 digs while averaging 3.75 per set - good enough for sixth in the league for the week.
