As the season heads into the final stretch, the University of Hawaii at Hilo dropped a Pacific West Conference match, 3-0, to Azusa Pacific University at the UHH gym.

Set scores were 21- 25, 19- 25, 21-25 [box score]

Bria Morgan led with 24 kills and 10 digs while Patty Snel added eight kills and 13 digs. Jolie Au had 30 assists.

“Our goal is always the same ... we're trying to get better every match, every practice,” UHH Head Coach Tino Reyes said. “We may not look like we're getting better but some of them are getting there.

“I feel I've not done a good enough job teaching them. Being over coached, under taught is a bad combination.”

The team will take a different approach to accomplishing their goal.

“The ownest will be on them to pick one or two things to work on, to improve on,” Reyes said. "If everybody can get better at one or two things, then maybe that's one or two points that we're gonna get."
