The University of Hawaii at Hilo finished third in the Pacific West Conference Men's Golf Championship on the Waikoloa Kings' Course at the Waikoloa Beach Resort.

The Vulcans tallied a 3-round score of 895 while team champion Grand Canyon University carded an 871 and runner-up Dixie State College turned in an 887. California Baptist University finished fourth with a 901 followed by Hawaii Pacific University (910), Notre Dame de Namur (914), Brigham Young University-Hawaii (918), Academy of Art University (924), Dominican University (989) and Chaminade University (1118).
Travis Russell (71-74-78) and
Corey Kozuma (72-75-76) were tied for 10
th place to lead the Vulcans with a 3-round 223.
Chris Shimomura was tied for 13
th place with a stroke back (76-68-80) while
Dalen Yamauchi was in 20
th place at 228 (75-73-80).
Jamie Hall completed the squad with a 229 (73-75-81) and tied for 21
st place.
CBU's Steven Watson won medalist honors with a 5-under-par 211 (69-73-69).
