Vulcans Runner-up at PacWest Championship

The University of Hawaii at Hilo finished second at the Pacific West Conference Men's Golf Championship on the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, AZ.
 
Seven strokes off of a first-round 293, the Vulcans came in with a 300 to finish at 593. Grand Canyon won the team title with a 588 (302-286).
 
First-round leader Dalen Yamauchi finished regulation tied for the lead at even-par 144 (69-75) before falling on the first playoff hole to GCU's Jimmy Kozikowski (76-88).
 
Jamie Hall finished in fifth place at 3-over-par 147 (73-74) while PacWest co-Player of the Year Corey Kozuma was in 6th place at 4-over-par 148 (74-74).
 
Completing the squad were Kyeton Littel (T18, 77-77=154) and Chris Shimomura (T28, 77-80=157).
