The UH Hilo volleyball Vulcans received votes but not enough love to crack the Top 25 in the Preseason edition of the AVCA Women's Division II Coaches Poll.

The Vulcans weren't alone in being overlooked. No Pacific West Conference team was listed in the Top 25, and only two NCAA D-II West Region teams cracked the list. 2019 national champion and unbeaten Cal State San Bernardino was ranked third and Western Washington came in at No. 14. 

Azusa Pacific checked in at 33rd overall and the Vulcans were 38th. 

Angelo State (TX) was listed at No. 1, followed by Concordia-St. Paul, Cal State San Bernardino, Nebraska-Kearney and Tampa.

Tomorrow (Wednesday), the Pacific West Conference Coaches Poll will be announced.
