Hilo, Hawai'i– The UH Hilo women's basketball team played a tight contest against Point Loma, but the Sea Lions were the ones who managed to come up on top in the fourth quarter 67-50 in the Golden Gymnasium.
There were nine lead changes prior to what would be UHH's final lead in the third quarter. The Vulcans were up 41-36 with 3:40 to go in the third, but went stone cold in the next nine minutes as the Sea Lions outscored them 31-9.
