IRVINE, Calif.--Three UH Hilo golfers received PacWest honors for their performances this year including
Keith Ng,
Andrew Otani, and
Dustin Franko.
Ng was named First Team All-PacWest for an outstanding junior year. The British Columbia native averaged 73.63 and carded under par eight times this season.
Ng won three tournaments in the Fall, which tied him with four other Vulcans who have won three tournaments in their entire careers including Nick Mason, James Hall, Logan Goulding and Dalen Yamauchi.
He also received PacWest Golfer of the Week honors twice this season.
Otani and Franko both received Second Team recognition.
Otani averaged 75 this season and carded par or below eight times. He received medalist honors at the Hawai'i Challenge by winning the playoff hole which scored him PacWest Golfer of the Week. Otani has also finished in the top three in four invitationals.
At the PacWest Championships Otani birdied the final hole to give his team an opportunity to surpass Hawai'i Pacific in a playoff round. Otani finished the conference championships T3.
Franko averaged 74.67 this season and carded par or below eight times. He finished in the top three of two tournaments, one of which was at the PacWest Championships.
