HILO, Hawai'i – Teani Arakawa tallied four scores to power the No. 14 Hawai'i Hilo Women's Soccer team to a 7-0 win over Multnomah in an exhibition match Wednesday afternoon at the Vulcan Soccer Field.
Arakawa scored in the opening minute, 15th minute, 49th minute and 51st minute of the match. The Vulcans added goals from Filippa Graneld (26'), Zariah Nogales (32') and Adree Johnson (37').
Megan Donovan assisted on two scores while Jazlyn Ellis added another.
Courtney Linn and Phoebe Barnes (one save) split time in goal to come out with the combined shutout.
UP NEXT
The game counted as an exhibition for Hawai'i Hilo, keeping its record at 0-0-0.
Multnomah (NAIA) moved to an 0-2-0 record.
The Vulcans are back in action Sunday, Sept. 3 for their first official match taking on Colorado-Colorado Springs at the Vulcan Soccer Field.
