HILO, Hawai'i – It's overtime for the 2024 Vulcan Challenge as the month-long campaign in support of Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Athletics has been extended an extra seven days through Oct. 24.

Along with generous contributions from KTA Super Stores and the Taniguchi 'Ohana, the Vulcan Booster Club, University of Hawai'i president David Lassner and Hawai'i Hilo director of athletics Patrick Guillen and his wife Dr. Lena Hamakawa, DDS, the third annual Vulcan Challenge has raised more than $107,800 from nearly 400 gifts.

The journey isn't over and there's still time to make a meaningful impact to give our coaches and student-athletes the resources they need to represent Hawai'i Island with pride.
