NORMAN, Oklahoma – Nicholas Gomez, Junsu Im, Jordan Sato and Jacob Torres earned Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar recognition for averaging under 78.0 and achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

The four Vulcans were among 226 NCAA Division-II athletes from 77 schools.

To be eligible, an individual must have held at least sophomore standing both academically and athletically. They must have participated in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds with a stroke average under 78.0 in Division II.

All four were also named to the Academic All-PacWest Team after helping Hawai'i Hilo capture back-to-back Pacific West Conference Championships in April. Gomez claimed the individual title and was later named Hawai'i Hilo's 2023-24 Male Athlete of the Year. The Vulcans Men's Golf team also earned Hawai'i Hilo Vulcan Team of the Year honors.
