CALIFORNIA – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Volleyball sophomore Isabella Freeman was named Pacific West Conference Defender of the Week for Oct. 6-12.
It is the second time this season Freeman has received the weekly honor after earning it two weeks ago for Sept. 22-28.
The Vulcans notched back-to-back wins this week with Freeman leading the charge in both total blocks and kills on the offensive end.
Freeman is currently ranked No. 6 for Total Blocks (93) and No. 21 for Blocks Per Set (1.21) in all of NCAA Division II. As a team, Hawai'i Hilo is ranked No. 14 for total blocks (157).
