HILO, Hawai'i – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Volleyball went to work to pick up a sweep of Vanguard (25-19, 25-23, 25-22) on Thursday night in Pacific West Conference play at the Vulcan Gymnasium.
The Vulcans finished with 48 kills and just 11 hitting errors for a season-best .381 attack percentage — the highest single-game mark through conference action so far this season.
Isabella Freeman continued her offensive explosion with a team-leading 13 kills (.417) from upfront along with six total blocks. Isabella Hadaller finished with nine kills and just one error (.444) as Chase Koepke totaled seven kills and zero errors (.700).

- Hawai'i Hilo currently sits at No. 4 in the PacWest Conference standings with Chaminade, Point Loma and Fresno Pacific ahead with unbeaten conference records.

Hawai'i Hilo was voted No. 4 in the Pacific West Conference Preseason Coaches Poll released earlier this week. The Vulcans finished 2024 in a four-way tie for fourth place. 2025 will feature the inaugural four-team PacWest Conference Championships postseason tournament hosted by Chaminade on O'ahu (Nov. 20-21).
