NORTHERN CALIFORNIA – Hawai'i Hilo Women's Volleyball closed out the final leg of its Northern California road trip with straight-sets victories over Jessup (25-22, 25-21, 25-17) and Dominican (25-10, 25-12, 25-19) this week in Pacific West Conference play.
The Vulcans are now just one game away from qualifying for the inaugural four-team PacWest Championships postseason tournament later this month on O'ahu at Chaminade University of Honolulu's home court at McCabe Gymnasium. A win in the regular season finale against Menlo (3-6 conference record) on Nov. 12 at the Vulcan Gymnasium would clinch a postseason berth.
Unbeaten Fresno Pacific (10-0) locked up a postseason spot with Point Loma (8-0), Chaminade (8-3), Hawai'i Hilo, Biola (5-4) and Concordia (4-4) still in contention.
